JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JQuery and cross-browser compatibility experience required for my client currently seeking an experienced Front End Developers. You will be working for a leading global E-commerce organization within the R&D department.

You main responsibilities will include:

Develop functional prototypes from wireframes, mockups and design patterns
Develop optimized/cross-platform Front End code in CSS/XHTML, JavaScript, and AJAX
Navigate your way around different browser quirks
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and application engineers to refine and improve the user experience
Partner with peers in application engineering to ensure that interactive techniques and technologies translate through to world class products and services
Work with Quality Assurance to test functional product features
Follow industry trends with regard to Front End technologies and techniques

Candidates should have at least 5 years experience working with a similar work environment and preferably within a high volume online environment. Candidates must be an excellent communicator in both spoken and written English. 2 Senior Front End Developers are required by my client, a global market leader for their European HQ located in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining complex JavaScript powered Web applications for the delivery of Internet media; make use of JavaScript frameworks such as Prototype/Scriptaculous and JQuery; produce rich user interfaces, working from requirements and stories provided by product owners. Be obsessive about quality.

The ideal candidate must have at least 3-4 years client side coding and have a strong technical background with JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS. Any knowledge of Ruby on Rails (ROR) or Java would be highly beneficial. English language skills are a must.
