Java Programmer required by this world leading independent developer and publisher of computer and console games

Main responsibilities:
Work closely within a small team of programmers in an agile development environment
Communicate with Artists and Designers to ensure work meets requirements
Mentor and instruct new junior programmers

Requirements:
Degree in computer science and at least 6 months experience in Java programming for the games industry
or
Experienced Java programmer (2+ years experience)
Excellent English skills, both Oral and written
The ability to work in closely knit teams
Expertise with Java, jsp and Servlets
Expertise with web server architecture
Experience developing scalable web systems
Experience working with databases
Experience with games development
Knowledge of AS3/Flash development

Preferred knowledge and experience:
Experience in professional Java game development
Experience in Client Server network programming
Experience working with multi-threaded programming
Experience in working with Linux
Experience programming with clouds
Experience working in teams and towards deadlines

Common for all positions, you need:
A passion for creating and playing video games
to relocate to Oslo
