Your role is to build a high quality, extensible and scalable web platform for dozens of countries in an agile team of five to ten developers. This includes writing new features, implementing caching systems like memcached, and helping to identify performance bottlenecks of our high-traffic website. You actively participate in discussions on further optimization strategies, which might be tweaking Magento or, in the future, maybe migrating to another system.
