Team Manager/Line Manager required to lead a team of 12/15 Senior Project managers, representing a portfolio of approximately 15 projects in the financial trading sector. My client is leading financial company.

This role focuses on team management, duties include the following:

• Lead and manage approximately 12 Project Managers
• Line management responsibilities - resource management, functional leadership.
• Recruitment and develop team members tracking progress through MBO and HCP driven human resouce development.
• Ensure appropriate delegation of projects based on skills and competencies.
• Develop, coach and train Project managers.
• Collaborate with project providers, stakeholder's and resource providers within department.
• Permanent team leadership and control - Work time, absences, salaries.
• Performance reviews.
• Ensure CMMI project management and department standards are delivered.

The right candidate will have solid leadership experience and team management expertise. A previous background in project management (ideally in a finance environment). Knowledge of project management practices, CMMI a distinct advantage. Project management certification (PMP, IPMA or similar).
