JavaScript Star – West London – £30-£40K + benefits

This is a great opportunity for a Web Developer who has a passion for JavaScript and Web 2.0, who thinks nothing of putting together a widget, trying out something new with AJAX or who has a list of personal web projects that they dip into in their free time.  So YES, we are looking for a bright person out there who eats, sleeps and breaths JavaScript and its associated technologies! 

The team, who develop web services for a renowned, global company who specialise in audio and musical equipment, is desperately seeking a developer who can bring great JavaScript skills to them – in return, they will share their skills and knowledge and you will be positively encouraged to develop and learn new skills – in fact they allow up to 20% of their working day so that individuals can research and try out new technologies!

Essential technical skills for the role:

• Strong knowledge and experience of Web 2.0 technologies
• JavaScript, AJAX, DOM scripting
• Well formed HTML and structured CSS
• JavaScript frameworks such as YUI or Dojo or JQuery or Prototype or Scriptaculous or Mootools etc

This role would suit a graduate who is maybe looking for their next step up the ladder, so you will already have proven experience in developing public facing web services/applications and you will have a portfolio of relevant JavaScript projects completed to a high level of quality.
