Windows server, UNIX, RDBMS, HP Open view, Oracle, SQL, Consulting and technical authoring skills experience required for my client currently seeking a Technical Solution Consultant.

You will be working for a leading financial organisation working within the global ICT infrastructure department. Your primary responsibility is making engineering decisions and translating strategic direction to supportable solutions. Hereby the engineer needs to deliver secure, well-formed technical designs that meet defined strategic objectives and fully support the requirements of the business.

Other responsibilities include:

• Test, review and report about new IT solutions within the organisation.
• On request support in (major) production issues.
• Take the technical lead across the technical teams within the organisation.
• Ongoing maintenance and promotion tooling roadmaps, strategies, policies and technical standards.
• Enforcing the technical authority within the organisation.

The successful candidate is likely to have at least five years technical architect/engineering experience, preferably within the financial sector. A strong advisory consultancy background is also required and excellent communication in English both spoken and written is essential.
