Java Developer/Architect (JavaScript, Apache, Tomcat, Sun Glassfish, JQuery,MySQL) My client specialise in Artificial Intelligent solutions across the World. You will be working with different projects and be involved in all aspects of the process from the design and specifications to coding and database and network integration. Position will focus upon: You will be able to identify customers' needs and coordinate the technical aspects of the projects. You will translate requirements in efficient solution architecture and identify potential risks and complexities to be covered. You will document the functional specifications and the solution designs. You will be working with different projects and be involved in all aspects of the process from the design and specifications to coding and database and network integration. You will lead development of code - hands on building code yourself, and supporting technical developer/s if working on larger projects. You will build interfaces to customer systems, including databases and networks. You will work in close conjunction with other members of the project team - Project Manager, Knowledge Engineers and Business Consultants to meet customer/project goals. Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of web based development and design as well as Object Oriented programming languages, Java in particular, and a broad and detailed understanding of technology. In particular, you should have good skills within most of the below areas/technologies/methodologies: JavaScript, Perl, PHP, Groovy, JQuery HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, Ajax JUnit, integration testing ASP.NET, JSP Apache Tomcat, Sun Glassfish Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL XML Data Structures Integrations via Web Services Netbeans Agile development Other Skills: Ability to communicate technical subject matter to non-technical people. Ability to quickly grasp, understand and learn new technical skills and programs Fluency in English - both verbally and in writing is a MUST.
